Six Alums Named to Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30 Lists
According to Forbes magazine, some of the most talented young achievers in the country have come out of Vassar. Six recent alums have been named to three of Forbes’s 30 Under 30 lists for 2019. Harrison Remler ’14 was selected in the Music category; Xiaoyuan “Charlene” Ren ’13 was chosen in the Social Entrepreneurs category, and the four founders of the virtual reality firm eevo—Alejandro Dinsmore ’15, Matthew Griffiths ’16, Casey Hancock ’16 and Harris Gordon ’15—were recognized in the Media category.
Remler is chief operating officer of Visionary Music Group, an independent record label whose roster includes Logic, John Bellion, Quinn XCII, Chelsea Cutler. Jeremy Zucker, and 6ix.
Ren is the founder of MyH2O, a network of university students and NGOs that tests water supplies in China and helps promote purification solutions. In the past three years, the organization has collected more than 150,000 water-testing samples in 1,000 Chinese communities.

Dinsmore, Griffiths, Hancock and Gordon founded a precursor of eevo while they were students at Vassar. The New York City-based company provides software and technical support for the creation of virtual reality content. The firm has worked with Felix & Paul Studios, the BBC, WeWork, McKinsey, and other media companies, and has raised $2.3 million in funding.
