Los Angeles attorney and film producer Brenda Feigen ’66 and Helen Pankhurst, OBE, a former Vassar College Clark Scholar and women’s rights activist, took part in “Reflections on Women’s Rights Present and Future,” an online panel discussion hosted by Vassar’s Office of Regional and International Programs on December 6, 2020.

Herbaria, catalogued collections of pressed and dried plant specimens, enable scientists to learn about ecosystems. Thanks to a grant from the National Science Foundation, the clues contained in these collections at Vassar and other nearby institutions will soon be available to researchers worldwide.

Seven months after the COVID-19 pandemic changed the lives of everyone in the Vassar community, the College took a day to exhale. Classes were suspended to celebrate Community Care Day October 7 as Vassar paused to reflect on the hard work and sacrifices many had made to keep the campus safe.
