Mrinalini Somani ’23 has been organizing concerts to benefit impoverished children in Mumbai since she was 12 years old, and she’s not letting the COVID-19 pandemic stop her from continuing to do so. On June 13, she will present her eighth annual WE concert with help from members of a Vassar choir.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the cancellation of the 2020 season of Powerhouse Theater, Vassar College and New York Stage and Film announced this week.
Vassar’s Office of Human Resources won’t be able to host a luncheon this year for the 183 employees who reached service milestones this year, but President Elizabeth Bradley sends them all a big “thank you.”
